A multi-millionaire candy heiress has been fined $550,000, electronically tagged and sentenced to eight months of house arrest at her $2million mansion after throwing a series of lavish drug parties.
Dru Cederberg, 52, who is worth $14million as heir to the Brach's Confections fortune, had for a decade hosted a series of high-society dinner parties at her $2million home in Billings, Montana.
After food had been eaten, Cederberg would serve an extra course of cocaine, laid out in the bathroom for guests freely to use.

After initially facing up to 20 years in prison for distributing thousands of dollars of the illegal drug at her parties, Cederberg took a plea agreement, with a judge on Wednesday sentencing her to two years probation, including eight months of house arrest, and fining her $550,000 for attempting to maintain a drug-related premises.
District Judge Charles Lovell praised her cooperation with the Justice Department and said he agreed to the settlement despite its relative leniency because of concerns for Cederberg's mental health.

'But I think the appropriate penalty here is a financial one, rather than one of incarceration,' he said.
Cederberg, a single mother of one 15-year-old daughter, with net assets of at least $14 million, including three homes valued at a combined $3 million, will now be required to wear an electronic police tag to monitor where she goes and submit regular DNA, breath and urine tests to make sure she is not doing drugs.
She cannot leave her home for eight months except for medical reasons and other activities approved by the court.
As part of the sentencing, she is also forbidden from drinking any alcohol for the period of her probation.
'That means stay out of the bars,' Lovell said.
Cederberg, who owns a series of breweries, bars and restaurants in Montana, insisted she is going to therapy every week and is working to change her life.
She is also an equestrian.
Her attorney, Mark Parker, said his client has not used cocaine since 2008.
'I’m very sorry for everything that I’ve done,' Cederberg said. 'I don’t deny that I was wrong. I’ve changed my life. I’ve done everything I could possibly do for... the past two and one-half years.'
