The death certificate of actress Brittany Murphy, who tragically passed away at the age of 32 back in 2009, has been changed to include the name of her father, Angelo Bertolotti, in the box that read “Unknown.”

Brittany’s dad had to complain several times because he was not allowed to visit his daughter’s grave site at Forest Lawn cemetery before officials finally made that simple correction. Angelo’s name was not in the death certificate, but he was listed as her father on Brittany’s birth certificate. Angelo was married to Brittany’s mom, Sharon Murphy, when she was born. The couple divorced when the late actress was only two years old.
