Justin Tennison, 33, a crewman on one of the show's fishing boats was found dead of unknown causes in a hotel room in his hometown of Homer, Alaska, police said yesterday.
Tennison's body was found Tuesday by hotel cleaning staff, but there was no sign of foul play and the cause of death was unknown, police said.
Police found a "small amount of marijuana as well as several bottles of alcohol in the refrigerator" of the hotel room, according to TMZ.
Tennison worked as a deckhand on a vessel captained by brothers Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand.

Andy said in a Facebook post that Tennison, "died peacefully in his sleep."
"Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand. The captains and crew appreciated his hard work and many contributions this past year. We will miss him terribly and wish his family all the best during this most difficult time," continued Andy's post.
Tennison follows in the tragic footsteps of captain Phil Harris, whose death was chronicled on the show last season.
