The new year has brought new legal troubles for ATLiens Gucci Mane and Wacka Flocka Flame. The oft-incarcerated Gucci may be facing more jail time after being thrown into prison for violating his probation, stemming from an arrest late last year.

If convicted, Gucci, whose real name is Radric Davis, is looking at 17 months behind bars, but his defense attorney is fighting to get him an ankle monitor instead. His probation officer requested that a judge order the rapper taken into custody, which was granted.

In May, the rapper was released from an Atlanta jail after serving six months for violating probation on an assault charge.

He’s currently being held in a mental health facility and is due back in Fulton County Superior Court on Jan. 24.

Meanwhile, Gucci’s protege, “Hard in the Paint” rapper Wacka Flocka, is facing a jail stint of his own after
his home was raided just before the holidays when authorities received a tip that he was part of a prostitution ring. Wacka turned himself in on gun, drug and gang related charges early Tuesday. According to TMZ, his manager mom Deb Antney: “He didn’t want to run.”

The Atlanta rapper has been charged with possession of marijuana, firearms (he’s a convicted felon), hydrocodone, and violation of probation and the state’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.”

He’s being held on $31,950 bond.
