Three days after losing her battle to a 6 year fight with breast cancer, Elizabeth Edwards was laid to rest Saturday at a North Carolina church.

John Edwards and their three children were joined by more than 1,200 mourners at the funeral service. Their oldest daughter Cate delivered the eulogy to her mother, saying:

"She has been a light house to all of us. She's always been that source of light to us. Every lesson she has taught us has become part of our ethic.
