Ja Rule Gets Two Years For Gun Charges, 50 Cent Taunts Him On Twitter
Rapper Ja Rule struck a plea deal with prosecutors today requiring him to serve two years in prison. Ja, a Queens native, was facing weapons charges from an incident back in July 2007 when a gun was found in his car door after being pulled over after leaving a Lil Wayne show in NYC. The rapper plead guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. If Ja Rule had gone to court and been found guilty, he could have faced seven years in prison. Ja will return to court in February 2011 for sentencing. To make matters worse, Ja’s well known rival 50 Cent has taken to his Twitter to speak on Ja’s ordeal. Check out their tweets below:(VID-DJ)
