Just last night, she told Piers Morgan that her 2003 sex tape scandal was the 'most humiliating and embarrassing' thing that had ever happened to her.


But perhaps unsurprisingly, the publicity friendly Paris Hilton today had no problems stripping off for a gratuitous bath scene in the first episode of her new reality show.

The 31-year-old star washed her hair and soaped up in the tub of her Beverly Hills mansion on The World According To Paris, which aired on U.S. network Oxygen.

The socialite promised the 'real' Paris Hilton would be on show in the programme, and the cameras certainly featured the star in all areas of her life, from her sleeping under a pink duvet, to girly chats with her mother Kathy.

Perhaps somewhat ironically, she later laid into her new assistant Lexie for having a second job writing scripts for porn movies, saying she wanted to distance herself from pornography.

"What you do is something that really hurt me in my life, you know, something that someone did to me,' she said,' referring to the tape which was leaked onto the Internet back in 2003 which was later released as a DVD by her then boyfriend Rick Salomon.
The show also features her love for boyfriend Cy Waits as well as the problems in their relationship.

The couple were seen in tears after having an argument when he confronted Paris over texts with an ex-boyfriend he found on her phone.

However, they seemed to later patch things up, with Paris saying: 'Cy is such a great guy I don't want to mess things up... I love him so much.'
They included Chalie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller, who danced the night away with Paris in a nightclub, despite Paris declaring via a voiceover that: 'I'm known as a party girl, and I'm really trying to change my image.'

The pair are seen kissing and enjoying a night out with friends.

The star's love of animals is a running theme in the show and sees Paris receive an unusual gift from a secret admirer - a white pony she named Lady Coco Channel.
The label read: 'A beautiful pony for a beautiful person. Love you always. Your secret admirer.'

Things took a more bizarre turn when Paris arrived to do her community service in towering Louboutin heels.

With her hair pulled into a ponytail and wearing a pale yellow polo shirt, the socialite still manages to look glamorous as she paints a wall.

The star has to complete community service after last year's drug bust in Las Vegas, but didn't appear too happy about it.

'Am I gonna be working with, like, convicts and, like, prisoner people?' she asked at one point, before adding: 'Because of a little incident in Las Vegas last year, I have to do 200 hours of community service and it really sucks balls.'

However, she seemed determined to show her more mature side in this latest reality show.
In the opening credits, she declares she is about to turn 30 and says she 'wants to say goodbye to Paris the party girl and hello to Paris the grown up and maybe hello to Paris the wife and mum.'

The programme also covered the aftermath of the break in to Paris's home by a man allegedly armed with knives, with Paris heading to her mother's home for an emotional chat.

She then moves into sister Nicky's house while she is away - and, using a pink moving van to bring her items, redecorates the house in her own style.


She was also seen in the unlikely setting of her own kitchen, although wearing a glamorous blue dress and makeup, didn't look best suited for food preparation.

The star has been heavily promoting her new reality show, appearing in three different outfits in New York for interviews today.
