The tattoo artist behind Mike Tyson's famous facial ink is suing the producers of the Hangover 2 for allegedly ripping off his design. In previews of the film - set for release in May - Ed Helms is seen waking up with a Mike Tyson face tattoo. Now tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill is claiming the Hangover 2 producers ripped off his work without permission. According to the suit, Whitmill wants to block the studio from showing the tattoo in the film and is also demanding an unspecified amount of cash. The lawsuit states: "Mr Whitmill is a visual artist living in rural Missouri. Among his creations is one of the most distinctive tattoos in the nation, an original design he created on the upper left side of former world heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson's face. "When Mr Whitmill created the Tattoo, Mr Tyson agreed that Mr Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the Original Tattoo. "Warner Bros Entertainment, Inc - without attempting to contact Mr Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation - has copied Mr Whitmill's Original Tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor in its upcoming motion picture, The Hangover 2."
