Sir Elton John will perform on American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" next week on behalf of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Jeff Beck and Joss Stone, and Mary J. Blige and the All-Star Band are also slated to perform on the April 21 results show, which will benefit such charities as Children's Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation.

For the first time, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has also joined "Idol Gives Back" as a non-profit partner. The Gates Foundation promotes healthy lifestyles.
John has raised $220 million since establishing the U.S. and U.K. branches of the Elton John AIDS Foundation in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
"Idol Gives Back" has raised $140 million for charity to date. Viewers will once again be able to donate during and after the show.
